A beginner-friendly pod system kit – Caliburn A2 Kit UWELL

Caliburn A2 is one of Uwell’s latest works. It has multiple features that make it popular with those who want something simple but provide a better overall experience than disposable e-cigarettes. I ended up using it as an RDL vape, but I have a better choice in this category.

But I really like the Uwell Caliburn G I reviewed some time ago, so let’s see how A2 compares to previous Caliburn‘s and whether it is worthy of your attention.

So, this is the expectation of A2. This is a pod system suitable for beginners. The pod can be replaced, can hold up to 2 ml of juice, and has a newly designed 0.9-ohm coil built-in. It can be activated either by lottery or by pressing a button.

Battery
It is equipped with a 520 mAh battery that can be charged via Type-C, but it is not included in the kit. I have never been a big fan of the original version because I never knew what it should be when the lottery was drawn.

Since A2 is part of the A series suitable for beginners, it is very easy to operate. Uwell retains the practical top padding of the previous Caliburn, so you can remove it by gently pushing the mouthpiece on the flat side.

Then just push the nozzle of the juice bottle into the red marked hole on the top of the A2 pods, and then fill the pod. Put on the mouthpiece again, put the device aside for five minutes, and then you can start. The taste I get from A2 is clean and refreshing, not far from the taste I get from Innokin Zlide.

In the past few years, the pods have come a long way, and in terms of taste, A2 is the best among them. This is especially true for 50/50 juice, even though the device can easily handle the 75VG juice I tried.

Coil
As for the coil life, after the sixth or seventh replenishment, I started to have a little juice in my mouth, but the taste has not been affected. At the tenth or eleventh time, the coil started to give up and I had to replace it. That is more than 20 ml of juice, which is not bad for a device with a built-in vape coil.
